I got a chance to spend a little time this afternoon with Mom, Dad and Mauri. The bond between them is absolutely beautiful. In the first photo Mauri was pointing out a little bird in the treetops. She delights in the little things around her! She appreciates the beauty of God's creations and loves to share her enthusiasm with all of us. I really couldn't ask for better parents. They are remarkable. They've taught us all to love God and to follow him. They are amazing grandparents to little Mauri. It has been so fun to see them in their role as grandparents. They look for moments everyday to teach her what is right.
"I am a child of God and He has sent me here. Has given me an earthly home with parents kind and dear. Lead me, guide me, walk beside me. Help me find the way. Teach me all that I must do to live with him someday.
It's little moments like this that remind you what really matters in life.
Thank you Mom and Dad for showing me the way. I love you both dearly.
