A Tiny Baby Chick

Danny and I had to make a quick run to Cal Ranch today for some tools. I was planning on staying in the car, but than he reminded me that they have baby chicks for sale inside. Obviously that changed my mind rather quickly. He admired the tools while I happily visited the little chicks, and regretfully informed them that they wouldn't be able to come home with us. Isn't this little baby just the cutest?!

I can't help but smile as I imagine your squeal of glee at the thought of visiting the tiny, baby "schicks!"

I love the look he's giving you. It's as if, sadly, he's wishing he could come home and be your friend.

Have a happy day!

Clarification: The "sadly" bit in that last comment refers to the fact that the tiny, baby "schick" couldn't come home with you, NOT that he wanted to come home with you.

How fun! We took Pepster to IFA and saw all the baby chickens, turkeys, ducks, and rabbits. Oh my word! Too cute! She holds so still and watches them scratch around, then hoots like a monkey and flaps her arms when she can't contain the joy any longer. I'm glad she loves animals, it makes my world a little happier.
