I heard this quote yesterday and thought it was so beautiful. It's such a good reminder to look for the hand of the Lord in ALL things. He blesses us in ways that we often don't even recognize. Often those blessings are small and simple, and we might miss them if we aren't looking. Often they come as trials, and we spend our days wishing them away. Often we mistakenly credit ourselves for the blessings that are undeniably gifts from a loving Father in Heaven. I've found that the more I look to recognize the Lord's hand in all things, my relationship with him is strengthened, and I am profoundly happier. During this season of gratitude and gift giving, I hope to become a little more like him, and to better recognize his hand in my life.

Love it, Lynley. It is truly amazing to see how many ways the Lord blesses us each day, ways that we would not even recognize if we were not looking for His hand. I'll have to share my Target story with you some time. Hope you're having a great holiday weekend!
