Grateful For: Free Thanksgiving Printable

Because I'm so grateful to all of you who take the time to stop by this little space of mine, I wanted to share a little something I created with you! I promise I'll print this out and photograph it nicely, but I was just too excited not to share it right now. I've been wanting some cute and inexpensive Thanksgiving decorations and just haven't been able to find anything that I liked... so I decided to create something myself.

Be back soon with photos of how it looks all printed up in my favorite teal frame! Feel free to drag it onto your desktop, save it, and print it up yourself if you are so inclined.

PS: I created the print as an 8x10... and in case you were wondering, Target has darling 8x10 frames for $2.99

Photo a Day 2: One

The photo a day prompt for day 2 was the word "ONE." This was a bit tricky for me, but I settled for a quick Instagram of Danny's 1% milk. Perhaps a bit ironic as I don't drink milk, but there you have it. (I love me some almond milk though... have you tried it?)

PS: I designed the logo in the corner. I've been studying a lot about photoshop and illustrator and I love it! I'm thinking about taking this class, here.

Truth, Love, and Service

Evidently it's time to take my sleeping pill, becuase it's midnight and I'm posting a new print here on my blog! I could make these all day! I just had to share... I love this talk by President Monson. Such simple worthy goals that will truly bring so much peace and happiness!

Perhaps tomorrow I'll photograph and share some of the over 50 scrapbooking pages I've been working on...

Okay, time to go to bed.

Road Trip

Dear Disneyland,

I think it's time Danny and I make plans to meet you... We've heard so many lovely things about you. I could use a little of your sunshine and magic right about now! Hope to see you soon...

Love,

Happy Valentine's Day

Here's another little Valentines Print I designed. Sweet and simple. I think this is the one I'll print up and frame. It matches our living room quite nicely!

While at BYU I studied Marriage Family and Human Development. So many times I felt strong impressions that this major was MOST important for me and my family. While sometimes I wish I had graduated with a more marketable degree, I have never questioned the value of the education I recieved. I believe in family. I believe Satan is determined to destroy our families. I believe in hope for our families through the gospel of Jesus Christ. I believe the atonement can heal our homes and families. Here are a few of my favorite thoughts on love and marriage... I would love if you took a moment today and watched each of these little messages. They are all so beautiful and inspiring.

Lastly, for those still waiting for the opprotunity of marriage and companionship, a video from my favorite talk by Elder Holland, "Good Things to Come," as a beautiful reminder that blessings await you. (also, a very hopeful message to married couples too.)

Happy Valentines Day!

Valentines Printable

Just a quick little Valentines Day printable I created for the Valentines book I've been making Danny. Everyday since the first of February the "Valentines Fairy" has come to leave a special little valentine/note for him. Tomorrow I'll put all 14 days together in a little mini album to give him. (no surprise to ruin here since he's been getting these little love notes all month long...) I'll have a couple more little printables available tomorrow too. Feel free to print it off and share it with someone special. I've also been planning on creating some prints for different holidays and replacing them in a frame I got at the thrift store.

Christmas Card

Today I designed a little Christmas card to send to friends and family. We bought cute little winter hats to take pictures in, but time is getting scarce, and if we waited till we got pictures taken, we probably wouldn't end up having time to send out cards...so I decided to use an old engagement photo. Better an old photo than no card at all, right? Right. Now to track down addresses... Wish me luck in actually getting these babies printed and in the mail!

Happily Ever After

I am so excited! Tomorrow is the General Young Women Broadcast, and I can't wait to soak it all in!

Last year President Dieter F. Uchtdorf gave a beautiful talk entitled "Your Happily Ever After". Even tales of enchantment still portray some measure of trials, difficulty, and the occasional broken heart. It is always after the struggle that the beautiful words "happily ever after" come. This talk couldn't have come at a better time for me, just weeks before Danny and I were married--sealed for time and all eternity, in the Mt Timpanogos temple. We'd been through a lot of struggles throughout our dating relationship. Through those difficult days, I learned to rely on faith, cling to hope, and believe in miracles. I really do believe in Happily Ever After. I believe all of our trials and challenges are for our good. "Your once upon a time is now." Your happily ever after awaits!

I just can't wait to hear more beautiful words like this, inspired for our lovely young women, their mothers, and leaders like me! Looking forward to tomorrow evening!!

With Hope,
L
